All About Therapy
Many of us did not grow up knowing that it was important - and okay - to take care of our mental health. We heard talking about going to the doctor when you are sick, but nothing about seeking counseling - or therapy - when our thoughts, feelings, or behaviors aren't well. But seeing a therapist is just as important and normal as visiting your doctor. Our minds and bodies are one, endlessly affecting one another both positively and negatively. If we are unwell physically, then our mental health can suffer AND vise versa. Arm yourself with knowledge about therapy and take away the fear and stigma of seeking help.

Services
Individual Therapy
In our therapy sessions, we’ll work together to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. We will join you in facing your most pressing concerns so you can lead a healthier life. Individual therapy can provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles.
Couples Therapy
If you’re looking for quality Couples Therapy sessions with a knowledgeable clinician, then you’ve come to the right place. We use the Gottman method for our couples work. The Gottman method is backed by 40+ years of research and work with actual couples. This method focuses on building your strengths as a couple, gaining understanding of one another, and developing communication skills.
Family Therapy
Family therapy or counseling is a form of treatment that is designed to address specific issues affecting the functioning of a family. It can help a family through a difficult period, a major transition, or mental/behavioral health problems. Our family affects who we are and who we become, for better and for worse. Family therapy can help you gain the tools necessary to give all members the best possible outcomes and have healthy relationships.
Evaluations
For clients seeking to obtain an evaluation - Substance Use or Mental Health related - we have clinicians specially trained to provide assessments. We are able to work with court or probation mandated clients as well as those seeking evaluation of their own accord. We do not provide parental fitness evaluations, but are happy to provide referrals when necessary.
