As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, we’re doing our best to keep everyone healthy and safe in the workplace while also minimizing the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.  We understand the current outbreak is worrying, and we want to take a moment to share the ways we can all help keep the office safe, as well as the steps we’ll take as a company if and when necessary.

Since the virus is highly contagious and there’s currently no vaccine, we all need to: 

 

STAY HOME IF WE ARE SICK

If you experience cold, flu-like symptoms, please stay home. Because the coronavirus produces cold-like symptoms in 80% of infected individuals, it’s important to remain at home when ill regardless of how mild your symptoms are. If you have a fever over 100 degrees, please stay home for 14 days to ensure you have not contracted the coronavirus.

 

Cover your nose or mouth with a tissue or your elbow — not your hand — and discard the tissue immediately after.

WASH OUR HANDS REGULARLY

Proper hand washing remains the best way to prevent transmission of the virus. Wash your hands after using the restroom, touching your face, eating, drinking, coughing, or sneezing, and at regular intervals throughout the day. Use warm soapy water and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, or the time it takes to sing “Happy Birthday” twice. Alternatively, alcohol-based hand sanitizer is effective as well.

 

When coming for an appointment we ask that you wash your hands upon arrival or use the hand sanitizer available in the office.

We’ll be increasing the frequency of our cleaning service as well to maintain a clean office area.  We will cancel all appointments should there be concern that there has been any exposure to COVID-19 in the office - please be sure to check your phone should this occur.

Como crece la preocupación global sobre el virus COVID-19, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para mantener a todos sanos y seguros en la oficina, al mismo tiempo que minimizamos las interrupciones en nuestras operaciones cotidianas. Entendemos que el virus es preocupante, y queremos tomarnos un momento para compartir las formas en que todos podemos ayudar a mantener la oficina segura, y también compartir los pasos que tomaremos como empresa si es necesario.

Dado que el virus es altamente contagioso y actualmente no hay vacuna, todos necesitamos:

 

Quedarnos en casa si estamos enfermos

Si experimenta resfriado o síntomas similares a la gripe, quédese en casa. Debido a que el coronavirus produce síntomas similares al resfriado en el 80% de las personas infectadas, es importante permanecer en casa cuando está enfermo, independientemente de qué tan leves sean sus síntomas. Si tiene fiebre de más de 100 grados, quédese en casa durante 14 días para asegurarse de no haber contraído el coronavirus.

Cubra su nariz o boca con un pañuelo desechable o su codo, no su mano, y deseche el pañuelo inmediatamente después.

 

¡Tenemos que lavarnos las manos regularmente!

El lavado de manos adecuado sigue siendo la mejor manera de prevenir la transmisión del virus. Lávese las manos después de usar el baño, tocarse la cara, comer, beber, toser o estornudar, y a intervalos regulares durante el día. Use agua jabonosa tibia y lávese las manos durante al menos 20 segundos, o el tiempo que lleva cantar "Happy Birthday" dos veces. Alternativamente, el desinfectante para manos a base de alcohol también es efectivo.

 

Cuando venga a una cita, le pedimos que se lave las manos a su llegada o que use el desinfectante para manos disponible en la oficina.

También aumentaremos la frecuencia de nuestro servicio de limpieza para mantener un área de oficina limpia.  Citas serán canceladas si hay preocupación que hubo contagio del virus en nuestra oficina – favor de revisar su teléfono por si esto suceda.
