Meet Megan

Megan Schwartz is an empathetic and skilled Therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being. Her expertise lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and client-focused sessions. 

 

Megan has focused heavily on evidence-based therapeutic practices and the latest research in the field of psychology as well as a focus on child and adolescent therapy techniques. She has experience working with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and mood disorders. Megan primarly uses a client-focused approach to therapy, tailoring her sessions to each individual's unique needs and goals. Her experience in CBT and DBT allows her to help clients develop coping skills and strategies for managing difficult emotions and challenging situations. Megan's client-focused sessions prioritize the client's needs, empowering individuals to take an active role in their own mental health journey. 

 

Megan is particularly passionate about working with children, adolescents, and new moms. She believes that early intervention is key in addressing mental health concerns and is dedicated to helping young people develop the tools they need to thrive. She is also passionate about supporting new moms during the transition to motherhood. Megan recognizes that this can be a challenging time and offers a supportive and non-judgmental space for new moms to explore their feelings and concerns.
